** Shares of Assa Abloy ASSAb.ST edge 3.2% lower after the Swedish lockmaker posted Q1 sales below expectations
** Q1 sales came in at SEK 35,751 million versus IBES estimate SEK 36,156 million, while Q1 EBIT was a slight miss with SEK 5.46 bln versus SEK 5.47 bln expected on average by the analysts
** The co said Q1 organic growth was 2% and acquired net growth was 2%. It added that exchange rates affected sales by –10%
** Jefferies flags that revenues and adj. EBIT came in 1% light vs cons, with flat volumes and 2% pricing
** The brokerage adds that Americas saw 4% growth but resi was weaker hit with elevated interest rates and snow storm affecting Jan sales
** Up to the previous session's close, shares were up 2.2% YTD
